How does Liberty Tax work?
Our process is simple. First, reach out via the correct plan submission page. Once you reach out, an associate will look over your information and reach out to you as soon as possible. We will then send you to our portal where you can upload your tax documents and pay for the service.
How much work do I have to do?
After you fill out our submission form and upload your documents to the cloud, we will take it from there.
What if this is my first time filing?
This isn’t a problem! Filing for the first time can seem overwhelming, but we make it easy by guiding you through collecting documents, finding deductions and credits, and filing step by step. We’ll explain everything in simple terms so you can feel confident about your return.
How do I know if I need to file a tax return?
You need to file a tax return if your income exceeds the IRS threshold for your age and filing status—for example, $13,850 for a single filer under 65 in 2023. You may also need to file if you’re self-employed, had taxes withheld and want a refund, or earned income from sources like investments or rentals. Not sure if you need to file?
